Café Deco is a fantastic lunchtime eatery on par with my beloved Sandwich Shop, which is a neighbouring business. Shh... but I sometimes go here as an alternative.
The sandwiches here are very reasonably priced, however they aren't freshly made, you pick from the window display.
The only upside is that they'll toast these for free for you (the sandwich shop charges for this).
Some are cheaper than the sandwich shop, but you're not going to get the same level of filling. I usually find these are a little too small to be completely filling.
What is great however is that they have a better variety of salad and counter meal dishes, and they have a great all day breakfast - for around £4, this is a complete bargain and is very good quality. They usually have some wonderful mushrooms on offer that are great.
They also have a sit down (eat in) area, so you can enjoy your food without having to scoff it on the go. Décor is okay, and it feels very much like a greasy spoon.
Staff are friendly enough and service is quick. -

The best value in the area, fantastic baguettes for breakfast with good coffee.
I stopped in this morning and was blown away with the amount of people in and out of the place.
Recommend to anyone for a quick bite -

I feel a little 'tricked
This place looked promising, small and crowded but the overall experience wasn't as I had hoped.
The board outside said English breakfast but it didn't even include a tea! about 20% extra payment added that cup of hot stuff. But seriously .. English breakfast without tea, I said, and the gent looks a little annoyed at me and states 'it's still the cheapest around here'. Not the right way to handle this, if you ask me and factually untrue even as for the amount I now had to pay I had seen Several others that may even have looked a little more appealing anyway. Ah well.
Breakfast came and I was pretty pleased at first until I actually saw that the 2 sausages was actually 1 sausage that was cut in half (length wise) and it didn't seem to be an accident that it had been put so that it looked like 2. The bacon was approx half a rasher but, being the cheapest ingredient and a good filler, there was More than enough baked beans. The plate was actually a full layer of beans and some other bits stacked on top of that. Oh, and only 1 slice of toasts while generally, 2 slices are sort of the norm.
Not the way I'm used to see and enjoy an English breakfast. The tastes were ok but staff wasn't all that friendly, the food was only ok and the price is deceptive. Not my cup of tea, so to speak. -

For a quick, inexpensive bite, this place is an excellent option. I had the full English breakfast and a cappuccino for half the cost I paid the day before down the road and the food was much better. The staff are very pleasant and there is a varied selection of sandwiches, curried rice dishes, pasta, and bread and pastries. I give it four stars not for being a high-end establishment but rather for being excellent at a low-cost nook.

Walking by the day before we saw full English breakfast for 5£ on a sign... went to try it out of curiosity and loved it... breakfast for two, coffee and bottled water for 12£!!!! (A bargain in london) That's less than what we paid for 1 person the day before!!! Highly recommend. Location is extremely busy with locals but it's all take out so the chairs were pretty empty.
